Two Cherubs was started in 2007 by myself, Jenny Lunney, Jerry Johnson (my husband’s cousin), and Amy Johnson (my sister). I’ve had a passion for beautiful, fine, worn antiques, and after hitting the Paris Flea Markets when my kids were little, it’s been a goal of mine to bring them back here ever since. Amy and Jerry didn’t hesitate to hop on board when I approached them about being my partners in crime.
Amy and I grew up living with antiques from our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. We have been antiquing and flea marketing forever. I have a degree in Interior Design from the University of Texas. Amy has a degree in Horticulture with Floral Design from A & M University…..school rivals!! Jerry has 20 years experience as a professional appraiser and is our in house library!!!!
I live across the river from Philadelphia in New Jersey. I mind the store which is located in Collingswood, NJ, just 10 minutes from Center City, Philadelphia, Pa. Amy lives in South Texas. (that’s where we grew up) And Jerry lives in Washington, D.C. (Jerry grew up in Indiana)
We are living a dream… traveling to France and here in the states, to find all our treasures. We’ve been to warehouses and flea markets in Paris, antique fairs and flea markets in the South of France, and road side sales. We hope to bring you the best we can find, and want you to feel as though you have just plopped yourself into someones beautiful, time worn home.
The gentleman you see at the table with the goatee is Jean-Pierre Navailles. He is our Parisian Cherub who gets us from wharehouse to flea market to roadside stop. He not only sets up my trips, interprets and negotiates for us, he has been in the antique business for over 35 years. Jean-Pierre has so much experience and knowledge that he kindly shares with us. He is a treasure and I can now say a dear friend.
Are the French country hardware items still available?
HI Amy,
Thanks for looking. Can I ask which items you’re asking about. I’m not sure which items you’re asking about.
Jenny
Thanks!
Yes, Amy they are still available. They are $150 each plus shipping. They are iron, so a bit heavy. I would need your zip code for a shipping quote. We have 5 available. Thanks.
